Honda Passport 2022 Review

Similar to the Pilot, Honda also introduced the 2022 Passport as a restyled version of the compact SUV. This car presents something between smaller urban SUV and an off-road one. It is similar to Honda Pilot but smaller.The main rivals of this SUV are Jeep Grand Cherokee and Ford Edge. Honda Passport basically a mini version of Honda Pilot with five seats and attractive design. There are also various features that make this SUV be one of the best SUVs on the market currently.

Features, Appearance and Specification

No matter it looks like a Pilot, Honda Passport offers the driver with extra adventuristic sense. The standard version comes with 20-inch black wheels with 245/50r tires.   The engine is a 3.5-liter, V6 with 280 horsepower which is a great source of power for this vehicle, since it is made for a Pilot, which is heavier.

This compact SUV targets younger people, it’s not massive but has a powerful engine, looks more attractive than the Pilot. Also, it is a bit higher and has a better overview. The approach angle is 21.4, while the departure angle is 27.6. This feature makes Honda Passport the great off-road vehicle.

Honda Passport contains a lot of black details, like wheels and front grille. Even the LED headlights are blackened. The engine transmission comes with a nine-speed automatic gear shifter that is combined with an Intelligent Traction Management with AWD. The AWD is optional, and with it, you can easily pass through any obstacle because it can send a different amount of power to the back and the front wheels. With this version Passport can pull more than 2 tons, the FWD can drag only about 1.5 tons.

There are a lot of features that make this vehicle so attractive. Some of them are blind spot warning, navigation, LTE with hotspot, power-folding side mirrors, wireless phone charger, and many more. Passport is very practical since it has a very big capacity for the cargo.

There are two basic versions of this SUV, The Adventure and The Urban. The additions with The Urban Package are black 20-inch wheels, roof rails, and spoilers. With The Adventure Package, you will get fender flares, a trailer hitch, and running boards. The interior is the same as in the Honda Pilot.
